an Fear Grinn introduces Móinteach, a Triple Distilled Peated Single Malt

Coming from some of the best Distilleries in Ireland, by acquiring & independently bottling great casks.. using best Irish Distilleries and people, an Fear Grinn has been releasing some fantastically innovative, and VERY LIMITED, bottles of Irish Whiskey. Part of the new Irish Whiskey landscape, inspired to bring you amazing and interesting Irish whiskey expressions in a bottle. One cask at a time!

Now sees the release of Móinteach.. you said you wanted more! So here it is...

Continuing the peated theme sees the inaugural release of the new expression of Irish style Móinteach (peaty) Triple Distilled Single Malt Whiskey, from an Fear Grinn (the smallest independent on the island!). Matured in first-fill American Bourbon barrels then carefully selected and sampled producing this unique profile of integrated flavours, an accessible and beautifully balanced whiskey offering a distinctive experience of peated malt.   Hand filled and labeled.

Non-chill filtered, Triple distilled, bottled at 46% ABV

Tasting Notes Aromas: Rich, deep aromas of sweet smoke, warm apple tart and notes of wild orange and pure lemon oils, heady aromas of earthy woodland green herbs and earl grey tea. Palate: Mouthfilling and creamy with peppery sweet peat, warm lemon pastry and crisp, tangy green apples, dark rich melted toffee layering in concert with a heady mix of rich spice and well ripened yellow fruits. Finish Lovely warm mellow peat finish, with the green and yellow fruit notes combining perfectly to linger on the palate and a warm fadaway into a sweet tea finale.

An inaugural consignment of 1000 bottles of this latest addition to the wee line-up is available at Celtic Whiskey Shop , IrishMalts.com, James J Fox & Selected Super Valu Stores.

And fans of these beautiful Limited Editions can keep those eyes peeled for 2 more Single Casks that I may or may not have heard will be released this year! ;)

Keep an eye on an Fear Grinn's Instagram page for all the updates.

Slán go fóill,

Danny
