Tír Deli to Open on Dublin's Hatch Street, with All Revenue on Launch Day Donated to Focus Ireland

The team behind casual culinary hotspot Tír Deli on Baggot Street are now preparing to launch their second outlet this Monday February 7th on Hatch Street Dublin 2.

With many people back to the office in Dublin city, the new Hatch Street branch of Tír represents a step closer to their mission of becoming a beacon for seasonal, Irish food. Tír is marking the opening by kindly donating 100% of its revenue on the day to homeless charity Focus Ireland.  Speaking about this fundraising activation, Kyela Fanagan (Corporate Fundraising Manager) from Focus Ireland says; "Tír Deli is generously donating all sales proceeds on opening day to Focus Ireland to mark the launch of their new Hatch Street location. The funds raised will provide support to families and young people currently experiencing homelessness in our communities. A big thank you to all the Tír Deli team for their support and we wish you all the very best of luck on launch day.”

Shane Kelly, Co-Founder of Tír Deli says; "Tír is hoping to get as many people as possible into the Hatch Street store on opening day so they can see the impressive culinary offering, enjoy a delicious bite and benefit Focus Ireland too.   Shane continues; “Tír has been ten years in the planning and dreaming stages, so we are beyond excited to be opening another Tír in the beautiful surrounds of the vaults just off Hatch Street. It feels like the perfect fit for us and will allow us to experiment and develop the food offering here even more. It’s made all the more special by teaming up with Focus Ireland to help do our part for homelessness.”  Since Tír Deli first opened in April 2021, the management have taken pride in resourcing the finest ingredients to make this a memorable culinary experience rather than just another deli.

Tír is a seasonal Irish Deli, devoted to celebrating the magnificent food of this island. The menu currently includes their take on nostalgic classics such as the roast beef sandwich (smoke-roasted dexter beef with salt & vinegar crisps inside, among other things) or the ham and cheese (free-range ham from North Dublin with Irish cheddar and ham crackling).

With originality, provenance and what’s in season at the heart of what’s on offer here, the team at Tír like to get experimental with the process of creating mouth-watering, memorable food. They have put themselves on the map using cooking methods such as fermentation, wood fire, pickling, ageing, and roasting to make stand-out gourmet deli food.   So get on down to Hatch Street this Monday, support a great cause and enjoy nourishing, soul food that will liven up your workday!  Slán go fóill,

Danny
