Perched high above the world-famous Lakes of Killarney, where sweeping mountain vistas meet tranquil waters, Aghadoe Heights Hotel & Spa is ushering in a new era of luxury with a series of carefully curated enhancements designed to elevate every aspect of the guest experience.

Long regarded as one of Ireland's most spectacular five-star destinations, Aghadoe Heights continues its evolution this summer with the unveiling of 12 beautifully refurbished Garden Suites, new culinary experiences led by acclaimed Executive Head Chef Cyrille Durand, and significant additions to its award-winning spa and wellness offering.
The newly redesigned Garden Suites offer an exceptional retreat where contemporary luxury meets restorative calm. Created by renowned designers Cantrell and Crowley in collaboration with Nordic Elements, each suite draws inspiration from Scandinavian simplicity and the natural beauty that surrounds the hotel.

Natural textures, refined craftsmanship and furniture influenced by Danish mid-century design create interiors that feel both effortlessly elegant and deeply comforting. Spacious living areas, spa-inspired bathrooms and serene garden settings provide guests with an intimate sanctuary designed for complete relaxation and escape.
Sustainability remains central to the experience, with 100% natural, vegan, handmade Irish amenities by Peigin Crowley featured throughout the suites alongside the removal of single-use plastics.

Dining takes centre stage this season as newly appointed Executive Head Chef Cyrille Durand brings a fresh vision to Aghadoe's culinary offering. At the hotel's acclaimed Lake Room Restaurant, one of Killarney's most celebrated dining destinations, menus showcase the finest seasonal ingredients sourced from exceptional local producers across Kerry and beyond.
Each dish tells a story of place, provenance and craftsmanship, served against a backdrop that is every bit as memorable as the cuisine itself, with uninterrupted views stretching across the Lakes of Killarney.

Adding to the experience is the launch of a new Afternoon Tea. Reimagined as an individually curated four-course journey, guests can savour delicate savoury creations, exquisite pâtisserie and beautifully crafted sweet treats in one of Ireland's most breathtaking settings.
The Spa @ Aghadoe has also unveiled a new suite of advanced wellness experiences, further cementing its reputation as one of Ireland's premier spa destinations. Combining innovative technology with a holistic approach to wellbeing, the spa's new immersive, non-contact treatment beds offer deeply restorative 30-minute experiences designed to encourage relaxation, support detoxification, enhance skin health and boost overall vitality. Guests can enjoy these treatments as stand-alone experiences or as the perfect complement to existing spa therapies.

In a further reflection of the hotel's commitment to inclusive care, therapists have also completed specialised oncology wellness training, ensuring thoughtful and personalised support for all guests.
“At Aghadoe Heights, our focus is always on creating exceptional experiences while remaining true to the warmth, authenticity and sense of place that make this hotel so special," said Brian Bowler, General Manager of Aghadoe Heights Hotel & Spa.
"From the transformation of our Garden Suites to the continued evolution of our culinary and wellness offerings, every enhancement has been carefully considered to enrich the guest journey. Whether visitors are seeking a luxurious escape, an unforgettable dining experience or simply time to unwind in one of Ireland's most beautiful settings, we are delighted to offer something truly memorable."
To celebrate the season, Aghadoe Heights has launched its new Summer by the Lakes package which includes a two night stay in a refurbished Garden Suite, welcome refreshments on arrival, dinner on one evening in the fine-dining Lake Room Restaurant and a leisurely breakfast on both mornings, overlooking the Lakes of Killarney. The package is €531 per person sharing throughout July and August.
