Ryan Tubridy could be set to enter the podcasting world or move across the water for a top job at GB News, according to Ladbrokes.
After the veteran broadcaster broke his silence on social media, the bookies have opened betting on his next move.
A new podcast is looking most likely at even money, but a TV role at GB News, home to fellow top presenters Piers Morgan and Eamonn Holmes, is proving most popular at 3/1.
GB News isn’t the only UK station in the mix with a move to the BBC a 4/1 shot, while a job at ITV is 5/1. It is a 7/1 shot that he goes even further afield and moves to the US.
Closer to home, Ladbrokes make it just 4/1 that Tubridy lands a gig at Virgin Media, while it is 6/1 that he will be heard on the airwaves for Newstalk.
A new book release for the self-confessed bookworm is also in the mix at 5/1.
Elsewhere, it is not beyond the realms of possibility that Ryan makes a sensational return to RTE. Ladbrokes go 8/1 that he returns to his former employer by the end of 2024.
Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes said: "The guessing game on Ryan Tubridy’s next move has kicked up a notch following his cryptic ‘new beginnings’ post on social media this week, and although his options seem endless, a TV gig in the UK is proving most popular."
