Emerald Park, Ireland’s only theme park and zoo, is excited to celebrate National Selfie Day this Wednesday, June 21st with an exciting competition to win a family pass to the park this summer.
The selfie is now for many people part of their day out, and people traveling to Emerald Park are no different. In glorious sunny weather there’s more selfies with ice creams and slushies, and if there’s a new arrival at the park people are always looking for a selfie with the newest addition.

Lemur Woods
Lemur Woods is an amazing opportunity to take a selfie with this incredible endangered species. Set in a large habitat in a natural woodland visitors can walk along a looped pathway within the enclosure, creating a fun, dynamic experience giving visitors the opportunity to see and learn all about these fascinating and lovable primates closer than ever before.
Dino Dash
A firm fan-favourite at Emerald Park, Dino Dash is a thrilling ride for budding dinosaur enthusiasts, get up close and personal with Raptors, T-Rex, Triceraptors and more! Travel back in time in a safari jeep carriage and soar to the skies before dashing under the tail and head of a Apatosaurus Dino! Sweep through the twists and turns avoiding the grasp of Raptors, but be aware of a bubbling swamp underneath waiting to explode!
Balloon Chase
Brand new to the park this year, the junior zone, Balloon Chase is the perfect selfie spot for young adventurers aged 3+. The sky is the limit as you get ready to go up, up and away on this colourful, hot air balloon inspired ride for adults and kids.
All of the crowd favourites including Cú Chulainn, World of Raptors, Power Surge, Air Race, Rotator, Flight School or Windstar attractions will also make the perfect selfie-op for visitors young and old this summer.
