Currys returns as Official Gaming Partner for Dublin Comic Con 2026

Currys, Ireland's leading technology retailer, is returning as the Official Gaming Partner of Dublin Comic Con for the second consecutive year, bringing an even bigger gaming experience to Ireland's largest celebration of pop culture, gaming and fandom.

Taking place on 8th and 9th August at the Convention Centre Dublin, Dublin Comic Con, which is run by Comic Con Ireland is expected to welcome thousands of visitors for a weekend packed with entertainment, cosplay, gaming and special guests from across the worlds of film, television, comics and animation.

Building on the success of last year's partnership, Currys will once again deliver a series of interactive gaming experiences throughout the venue, giving visitors the opportunity to learn about the latest gaming technology and compete for exclusive prizes.

Highlights include:

• Currys Arcade featuring the latest playable games and chances to win Currys prizes.

• Interactive gaming challenges, where attendees can put their skills to the test for the chance to win exclusive Currys prizes throughout the weekend.

Currys’ Gaming Ambassador Chris O'Gara, better known as The Gara Show, will also return to Dublin Comic Con, hosting live sessions across the weekend alongside fellow creators and special guests. Fans can expect lively discussions, gaming chat, audience interaction and plenty of giveaways.

Currys' specialist gaming colleagues will be on hand throughout the event to offer expert advice and help gamers of all levels find the right technology to suit their setup.
