As we begin a new year, a fresh focus on health and well-being is taking centre stage for many individuals. A recent survey carried out by Currys has revealed that people are increasingly prioritising their health, with a significant number planning to adopt new wellness routines and explore fitness technology to achieve their goals. Currys is stepping up to help customers make these aspirations a reality with their range of health and fitness tech products on available this year.
Survey highlights

Fitness activity: Only 7% engage in physical activity five or more times a week, with 52% exercising two or fewer times weekly.
Health monitoring: Over half (51%) already use devices or apps to track metrics like steps, heart rate, and sleep – a growing trend.
Sleep patterns: The majority (70%) report getting 6-8 hours of sleep per night, yet enhancing sleep quality tops health goals for 2025, with 55% prioritising better rest.
Top health goals: Reducing stress (66%), eating healthier (64%), and improving mental health (47%) dominate New Year’s resolutions.
Biggest challenges: Time constraints (49%) and lack of motivation (36%) are the leading barriers to maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Self-care aspirations: An overwhelming 82% express interest in exploring new forms of self-care in 2025.
Recognising these trends, Currys is championing the move towards healthier living with an impressive selection of fitness technology. With 53% planning to start a new fitness or wellness program in 2025, there’s never been a better time to invest in health-focused tech.
