Emerald Park Unveils Brand-New Mega Monster Halloween Event This October

This Halloween, Emerald Park is going bigger than ever with the launch of a brand-new Halloween extravaganza, Mega Monster Halloween! Bringing a whole host of spooky family fun to Ireland’s only theme park and zoo, this ultimate Halloween adventure for the entire family will feature a brand-new themed Pumpkin Quest treasure hunt, a Halloween-themed live panto, frightfully fun character meet & greets, live entertainment, spooky surprises and more!

Located only 20 minutes outside of Dublin, in Ashbourne, Co. Meath, families can step into a whole new world of Halloween fun across selected dates from Saturday, 10^th October to Sunday, 1^st November. Tickets are available to book now from EmeraldPark.ie.

At the heart of Mega Monster Halloween is the brand-new Pumpkin Quest, where families can help Patch find his lost pumpkins along a spooky trail and meet a whole host of new characters along the way. Explorers will journey through themed locations including Eldamir’s Wizard Academy, the Pumpkin Patch, Ghostly Tunnel and Ghoulish Graveyard, with plenty of spooky surprises around every corner, all before claiming your sweet treat at the end of your quest!

There will also be a brand-new Halloween-themed live panto for families to enjoy, Goldilocks and the Three Scares. When the Scare-Crown sends his three fearsome monsters to capture Goldilocks, she soon discovers that they are not quite as scary as they seem! Featuring Goldilocks, Ziggy the Zombie, Horribella the Witch and Vasya the Vampire, the 25-minute live show is packed with humour, courage, friendship and plenty of spooky fun for the whole family.

The Halloween entertainment continues in the Junior Zone with the four-piece Boo Crew, bringing music, dancing and Halloween fun to the park, while families can also enjoy magical meet and greet moments with a host of frightfully fun characters, including Frankenstein, the Mummy and more!

As part of this year’s Halloween celebrations, Emerald Park will also host Mega Monster Halloween: Spooky and Sensory on Sunday, 18^thOctober, giving families the opportunity to experience the magic of Mega Monster Halloween in a more relaxed and sensory-friendly environment. The morning will include a specially adapted performance of the Halloween live panto, alongside a sensory-friendly experience of the Pumpkin Quest trail.
