Currys have just launched their Black Tag sale, the biggest sale of the year running throughout November in the lead up to Black Friday, and Ireland’s largest electrical retailer is expecting to see some interesting sales trends both in store and online.

“We expect to see some interesting sales trends this year during our Black Tag sale and leading into Black Friday. With the cost-of-living crisis, customers are looking for value, both when it comes to finding deals and the type of purchases they make.
More than ever this year, customers are looking to save on Christmas gift shopping, by snapping up Black Tag deals. It’s also a great way to spread the financial burden of what can be an expensive month for households.
In terms of in demand products, customers are looking at practical items that can help them save on bills. Air fryers, which had been growing in popularity in recent years thanks to their health benefits, have skyrocketed in sales over the past few months. This soaring demand is largely due to the fact they have been found to be significantly more cost-effective in terms of energy use than a standard oven. We expect sales to to continue to grow throughout our Black Tag sale.”
