French Artist Henriette Arcelin Designs Latest Minuty M Limited Edition Bottle

Minuty have proudly announced French illustrator and ceramist, Henriette Arcelin, as the designer of the latest edition of the iconic Minuty M bottle for the 2024 spring-summer season. Every season since 2018 Minuty has embarked on an artistic collaboration for it's M Rosé cuvée. Each year, the estate partners with an artist and asks them to cast their unique eye over Minuty.

Henriette chose a bright yellow for this limited edition bottle, paying homage to the Provencal sun that breathes life and character into the grapes behind the flavour of Minuty wines. The Provencal sun, necessary for healthy grape growth and indispensable for fruity flavour, adds it's signature touch to Minuty rosés.

This limited edition bottle encases the classic Minuty M Rosé, a blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah. Minuty M is a fruity rosé which combines aromatic intensity and lightness. The palate is greedy and round, with a slight sweetness tempering its liveliness. An introduction to the expression of Provence rosé, Minuty M is perfectly paired with shellfish, summer salads, starters or snack dishes.

Henriette is a Paris-born artist based in Portugal, and her work reveals botany inspired organic elements, natural history, fauna, and marine biology. Folklore, textiles, and handicrafts from various regions of the world also feature strongly in Henriette’s creations.

Limited edition artists for Minuty M always begin their creative processes with a four day residency at Château Minuty. Henriette spent hours exploring the Estate, its history, and meeting the men and women who play a crucial role in the process of creating Minuty wines. She spent time learning the history and know-how of the House, the heritage of four generations of passion. During these discussions, several creative ideas came to light, which helped to highlight the artistic direction she would take.

Speaking about her new limited edition bottle for Minuty M, Henriette said: “My work is mainly inspired by nature, landscapes and the elements that surround me. During my creative processes, I collect various specimens which I then start to draw from, letting my imagination freely dictate the shapes and compositions. For the creation of the limited edition Minuty bottle, this monochromatic illustration was inspired by the colours of the pretty village of Gassin, where the Minuty estate is located. I really enjoyed the experience of being able to paint directly onto the bottle in inspiring locations.

Since 1936, Minuty has been a story of family, passion and values based on the Saint-Tropez peninsula. Nestled between land and sea in the heart of Provence, Minuty is above all, a family adventure; one of unique artisanal know-how and a deep respect for the land. For four generations, the men and women at Minuty have brought the know-how and expertise derived from a rich family heritage to life by producing rosés, whites, and reds, emblematic of the Côtes de Provence
