German Doner Kebab (GDK) is turning up the heat in Ireland with the launch of its hottest drop yet, the Inferno OG is a fiery new take on the iconic OG Kebab that fans already know and love.

At its core, the Inferno OG stays true to the original: GDK’s signature kebab, loaded with a choice of premium lean doner meats, crisp fresh salad and toasted waffle bread. What sets it apart is the addition of GDK’s blazing new Inferno Sauce, which brings a bold hit of heat and transforms the familiar favourite into something a little more intense.

Made using ghost pepper chillies, among the hottest chillies in the world, the Inferno Sauce delivers a tongue tingling spice that builds with every bite. It’s unapologetically hot but carefully crafted to complement GDK’s distinctive flavours rather than overpower them, making it a kebab designed for serious spice fans who still care about flavour. Same legend, new level.

Rickey Sharma, Director of the Strava Group, says:

“The Inferno OG showcases GDK’s ability to respond to evolving consumer tastes and the growing demand for spicier, more adventurous flavours. It allows us to refresh our menu while reinforcing our position as leaders in the premium kebabs space.”

The Inferno launch builds on GDK’s growing momentum in Ireland following the opening of its first Irish restaurant at Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, which marked the beginning of the brand’s long-term expansion plans across the country. Globally, GDK operates over 170 restaurants across the UK, Europe, North America and the Middle East, and continues to invest in menu innovation that blends premium ingredients with bold, culturally relevant flavours.

As the brand celebrates its most recent launch, the 150th UK restaurant in Leeds, GDK has set its sights on Ireland and is ready to bring its bold, flavour-packed, culturally tuned-in experience to a brand-new audience. And with 30 stores planned within the decade, GDK is planning to embed itself within Irish culture for the foreseeable.

Inferno OG is available now for a limited time at German Doner Kebab restaurants in Ireland.
