Irish Festival Set to Break The World Record for the World’s Biggest Disco Ball This Saturday

The Biggest 90’s-00’s Disco Festival which takes place tomorrow, Saturday June 25th 2022 at Punchestown is set to break the world record for the biggest disco ball in the world. Irish company Spectrum Productions has successfully built the disco ball, 11 metres in height, which beats the current record of 10.33 metres that was lifted into the air and rotated at the Bestival Festival in 2014.

Set to be one of the most Instagrammable moments of the summer, the disco ball with over 1,500 mirror tiles will be lifted in the air in front of 15,000 disco fans at 10pm on Saturday night as crowds enjoy 90’s-00’s music across the festival’s three stages.

This event marks the Biggest Disco’s first festival since 2019 and will feature some of the biggest acts of the 1990’s and 00’s including 2 Unlimited, BasshunterVengaboys, Gala, Paul Oakenfold and many more, guaranteeing ticket holders over ten hours of nostalgic fun. Limited tickets are available on Eventbrite (€71.51 - over 18’s only) and with a bus schedule from all over the country to bring revellers straight to the gates it promises to be a great day and night in the summer festival calendar.
