On National Rescue Dog Day, Just Eat, Ireland’s leading on-demand delivery platform, revealed that it is now in a purr-fect new partnership with Maxi Zoo, the country’s number one specialist pet care retailer. The two-year, exclusive partnership has launched in 32 of 34 Maxi Zoo stores across Ireland, and animal lovers can now order their favourite pet products for same day delivery, directly to their door.

This week’s announcement reinforces Just Eat Ireland’s evolution beyond food and groceries, as it continues to deliver not only the most delicious dishes and essential items from restaurant and retail partners across the country, but also more of the everyday products Irish consumers are looking to order more frequently.

Commenting on the partnership, Ronan Neary, Head of Grocery at Just Eat Ireland said: ‘Ireland is a nation of pet lovers, so we’re delighted to partner with Maxi Zoo to make it even easier for people to care for and treat their pets. This new partnership offers a faster, more convenient way to shop for your furry friends, and is another great example of how Just Eat is leading the way in bringing innovation to the world of on-demand, retail delivery.”

Rory Farrell, Head of Sales at Maxi Zoo Ireland added: ‘“We’re excited to join forces with Just Eat in this new partnership, which makes it even easier for people to access the products their pets love. From last-minute treats to essential supplies, pet owners can now rely on Just Eat to deliver what they need, when they need it, quickly and conveniently.”
