Father’s Day, 15th June, is flying in fast, and Moonpig wants to make sure no Dad is left cardless. In a first-of-its-kind stunt for Ireland, Moonpig has partnered with aviation innovators, Manna Drone Delivery, to launch a competition for deserving Dads, with lucky Dublin winners receiving their gifts by drone.

Because gifting should soar

One in five people admit they’ve completely forgotten Father’s Day before. That’s where Moonpig steps in. Whether you’re forgetful, flustered or just want to upgrade your gifting game, Moonpig’s Father’s Day giveaway is here to turn last-minute panic into a first-class surprise.

The competition is open to everyone across Ireland, with a special twist for some Dublin-based winners. Those living within eligible Eircodes will receive their prize by drone powered by Manna’s sleek electric drones, which fly at over 60 km/h, while all other winners will have their Father’s Day bundles delivered by post.

How the Father’s Day competition works

Running from Tuesday 27th May to 12th June, Moonpig is giving people across Ireland the chance to win a limited-edition Father’s Day gift pack by entering a social media competition. Up to 50 winners will be selected at random. Winners in selected Dublin Eircodes will receive a drone-delivered bundle, while all other winners will receive their gifts via post.

Gifting with lift-off

This drone stunt isn’t just a flashy moment, it’s part of Moonpig’s mission to make gifting more exciting, emotional and unforgettable.

“We’ve all had that last-minute panic when we realise Father’s Day has landed and we’ve forgotten to get a gift,” said Mary Liu, Director of New Markets at Moonpig Ireland. “This year, we’re giving people across the country the chance to go from zero to hero, and for those in parts of Dublin, that surprise might even drop from the sky! Our partnership with Manna lets us deliver not just gifts, but genuine joy.”

Dennis Houston, Director of Operations at Manna Air Delivery, added, “We’re thrilled to partner with Moonpig to show how drone delivery can be both practical and magical. This Father’s Day competition proves the future of gifting is already here, and it flies.”

Whether you’re making up for last year, want to impress Dad or just want to win something special, don’t miss your chance to enter. Because pigs can’t fly – but Moonpig can.

Order on Moonpig before Wednesday 12th June for personalised cards and gifts to arrive in time for Father’s Day on Sunday 15th June.
