Oasis at Slane: From 1995 to 2009 and Now Back Again in 2027

Oasis are heading back to Slane Castle — and for Irish fans, this is more than another reunion show. Liam and Noel Gallagher are returning to a venue that has been part of the Oasis story since the band were still on their way up.
Oasis at Slane: from 1995 to 2009 and now back again in 2027
Oasis will play Slane Castle on Friday 4th September and Saturday 5th September 2027 as part of Oasis Live '27. Richard Ashcroft will be the special guest, with the shows forming part of a 38-date world tour.
The announcement comes after the huge Oasis Live '25 reunion, which brought Liam and Noel Gallagher back together on stage and included two sold-out Croke Park shows in 2025.
Oasis first played Slane in 1995
The connection between Oasis and Slane goes all the way back to 22 July 1995. The band appeared as special guests to R.E.M., alongside Spearhead, Sharon Shannon, Belly and Luka Bloom. Oasis were still relatively young at the time, but their performance became one of the talking points of the day.
Fourteen years later, they returned — this time at the top of the bill.

The legendary 2009 Slane show
On 20 June 2009, Oasis headlined Slane Castle in front of a sell-out crowd of around 80,000 people. The bill included The Prodigy, Kasabian, Glasvegas and The Blizzards, making it a particularly memorable day in the venue's long concert history.
Oasis opened with Rock 'N' Roll Star and played a 22-song set that included Wonderwall, Supersonic, Live Forever, Don't Look Back in Anger and Champagne Supernova. It would ultimately prove to be the band's final Slane appearance before their split later that year.
Now Oasis are coming back
The 2027 return gives the Gallagher brothers a chance to revisit one of the most important Irish venues in their history. This time, they will play two nights rather than the single headline date of 2009.
Fans hoping to attend need to register through the official Oasis process before Thursday 17 September at 4pm BST. In Ireland, ticket sales are scheduled across Friday 25, Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September. Standard ticket prices are listed at €181.25 to €501.25 including booking fee, with a maximum of four tickets per person.
