Fans of a galaxy far, far away can breathe easy — Off Beat Donuts has officially confirmed that its hugely popular Star Wars-themed donut collection is sticking around until the end of May.

Originally launched to celebrate May the Fourth, the limited-edition range quickly became a hit with movie lovers, families, and donut fans across Ireland, prompting the Dublin-based donut company to extend the run following strong demand online and in stores.

A Box Full of Fan Favourites

The themed collection features a lineup inspired by some of the franchise’s most iconic characters, including:

  • Baby Yoda (Grogu)

  • Princess Leia

  • Chewbacca

  • Darth Maul

  • Lightsaber Boston Crème

The standout visually is undoubtedly the Grogu-inspired donut, finished in green icing with trademark ears and detailed decoration that instantly caught attention across social media.

Movie Night Snacks Sorted

In its latest campaign email, Off Beat leaned heavily into the upcoming release of The Mandalorian & Grogu, reminding fans that “movie snacks are sorted” and encouraging customers to plan cinema trips, Star Wars marathons, and donut runs before the collection disappears.

The campaign combines playful humour with the brand’s usual pop-culture-heavy marketing style, something that has helped Off Beat build a loyal following well beyond the traditional coffee-and-donut crowd.

Available Online and In Store

The collection is currently available for:

  • Delivery

  • Click & collect

  • In-store purchase

Customers can order directly through the company’s website or visit participating locations while stocks last.

Pop Culture Marketing Done Right

Off Beat Donuts has built a reputation for leaning into themed releases and seasonal collaborations, but this campaign feels particularly well timed. With renewed excitement around Star Wars content and nostalgia-driven food trends continuing to dominate social media, the extension makes perfect sense.

For Irish brands, it’s also another reminder that limited-edition products, strong visuals, and a bit of humour still go a long way online — especially when the products themselves look this good.

Whether you’re a die-hard Star Wars fan or just looking for an excuse to eat a Baby Yoda donut, you’ve got until 31st May to make it happen.

Slán go fóill.
