Producers Pat Egan and Stuart O’Connor have joined forces again to form The Live Drive-In PARK N PARTY which aims to bring the same unique energy, excitement and spark that audiences have come to expect from their annual Olympia Theatre Panto, to covid-safe outdoor-entertainment experiences.
The first of these is PARK N PARTY, a safe, covid compliant drive-in show for all the family.
Integrating live music, dancers, audience participation and games, PARK N PARTY is hosted by the infectiously enthusiastic talents of Olympia Panto veterans (and television and social media stars) RYAN ANDREWS and JAMES PATRICE.
The drive-in show was made possible thanks to the support scheme of the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media. Thanks to that grant the new show will employ up to 70 entertainment professionals (technicians, designers, performers and many more) for the entire month of August.
Producer Stuart O’Connor says he is, “Thrilled to be able to bring family entertainment with such a feel-good factor to venues across the country and also to see so many of our colleagues back working thanks to the support of the government grant”
Ryan Andrews says he, “Can’t wait for it. There’s something for everyone there…Plus it’s been almost two years since I’ve been able to do what I love the most which is to be live on stage in front of an audience! After years of Fair City and Panto I can’t wait to add carpark to the CV!”
James Patrice added, “I’m so excited to be on the road with Ryan! There’s nothing like getting out and about and enjoying a bitta craic with the family or friends in a safe and fun way, and Park N Party is just the ticket! It's going to be mighty!”
