Tasty Takeaway | Ruby's Pizza & Grill

For this Tasty Takeaway, I'm recommending Ruby's Pizza & Grill

'Ruby's' is one of those restaurants that always satisfies, whether you order from Ruby's or dine in you're guaranteed top quality food each and every time.

The first time I actually tried Ruby's was during Lockdown after just being 'too busy' to pop down beforehand, every cloud eh! I've ordered plentiful since and always enjoyed the feed so I was very happy to collaborate with them recently for this review.

For starters I had the famous Ruby's Chicken Wings, they come with an option of sauce Classic BBQ, Soya & Sesame glaze or spicy Louisiana with the option of adding a dip - Garlic Mayonnaise, Blue Cheese or Chipotle

These wings certainly live up to their reputation, so succulent and covered in just the right amount sauce. I opted for the BBQ sauce this time, a must try for Wings fans! Perfect for a starter but also a decent size portion if you want to pair it with Fries for a main.

The mains options are fantastic, these were the ones we tried..

Ruby's Create Your Own Pizza - this comes in two options, 10 inch regular base or 10.5 inch Gluten Free Base with an option of 7 meat toppings and whopping 22 optional toppings.

I opted for the Regular Base, with Smoked Chicken and Ruby's Cajun Seasoning, a superb combination on an excellent pizza base. There's plenty of ready made Pizza options available including the Ruby's Special Pizza, but the Make Your Own option is perfect for having your pizza exactly how you want it.

Next up was the Penne Arribiata. This is a Penne pasta with Arribiata sauce, mixed peppers, red onion, rocket & cherry tomato. Topped with parmesan. (There’s an optional meatball version available too). Fantastic pasta with a generous portion served.

Final main was the Cheeseburger, served with House Fries. This burger is genuinely fantastic! I'm a former fussy eater, and still don't like certain foods like tomatoes and mayonnaise etc so when a restaurant offers up a burger like this it's right up my street.

Plain and simple, their Cheeseburger comes with the option of beef or chicken, simply dressed with double cheese. I chose the beef, it's cooked to perfection, a lusciously tender burger topped with a double helping of cheese. The kind of burger that every bite leaves you salivating for the next!

This was a top feed as always from Ruby's, luscious servings with generous portions, topping it off with a Milkshake and Cocktail was the perfect finish! I chose the Classic Strawberry Milkshake which just ticks all the boxes for what you want in a Milkshake. Cocktail of choice this time was a Sex On The Beach, a top notch cocktail as always from Ruby's. Frozen Bubblegum or Strawberry Daiquiri, Pornstar Punch & Sex On The Beach are the cocktails available at €6.95 each (with a brilliant buy 3 get 1 free option)

With special deals weekly like Burger Tuesday, Wing Wednesday & Pizza Thursday, Ruby's is definitely a must try if you haven't had the pleasure yet.. and obviously worth revisiting if it's been a while since your last order! 100% recommended

Ruby's have Dine In/Takeaway Restaurants in Swords Co. Dublin & Point Square in Dublin 1. You can order Takeaway online and indeed book a table in one of their welcoming venues online or over the phone.

All details and full menu available over on their website Ruby's.ie

Let me know if you try some, and what you're favourite dish is!
