Teeling Whiskey have proudly announced the release of the highly anticipated Teeling Crystal Single Malt!
This innovative expression pushes the boundaries of Irish Whiskey craftsmanship through the use of a highly atypical mash bill and innovative cask maturation techniques, as a limited expression of their Award-Winning Single Malt. This is the World's First Crystal Single Malt Irish Whiskey!
Crystal Malt is created when the sugars that are naturally formed during the traditional malting process are crystallised through heat treatment in a closed system that prevents the moisture from escaping. This produces a highly distinctive toffee-like flavour, along with hints of tropical fruits.
Limited to just 18,000 bottles, the Teeling Crystal Single Malt was triple distilled in their Dublin Distillery, consisting of Teeling Single Malt that was crafted by adding Crystal Malt to the mash bill, followed by a maturation exclusively in Virgin American Oak Casks. Bottled at 46% with no chill filtration for an Irish whiskey of true character!

Tasting Notes:
Nose – Green apple, stewed pears, with hints of brown sugar, vanilla and light oak shavings.
Taste – A burst of toffee coats the palate, with apple pie spices and fresh pastries, followed by a honeyed sweetness.
Finish - Long luxurious finish with notes of soft cinnamon spice and caramel.
The Teeling Crystal Single Malt will be available exclusively for purchase at The Loop, Dublin Airport's world-class shopping destination, ensuring that travellers departing from or transiting through Dublin have the opportunity to acquire this limited-edition masterpiece before being rolled out to key export markets later in 2024.
