The Helix reveal the Cast of ‘Neverland’ this Year’s Christmas Panto!

The Helix is excited to reveal that Irish actress and social media star Katie-Rose Weir will take to the panto stage as Tinkerbell in this year’s magical Christmas production, Neverland, produced by TheatreworX Productions. The Helix Panto returns from Friday, 20^th November 2026 to Sunday, 10^th January 2027, promising families a spectacular festive adventure packed with pirates, fairies, forgotten powers, laughter and plenty of panto magic.

This Christmas, Katie-Rose Weir will step onto The Helix stage as the mischievous Tinkerbell, bringing her own spark to the magical world of Neverland, joining the much-loved Helix Panto favourites for an adventure like no other. Packed with the usual Helix Panto's laughter, surprises, and heart-warming moments, Neverland is the perfect festive treat for all ages with stunning sets, song and dance!

Produced by TheatreworX Productions, Neverland brings The Helix Panto touch to the classic world of Peter Pan, taking audiences on a swashbuckling journey to a magical world of pirates, fairies and unforgettable characters. Join Lola, Buddy, Laurel and a host of new faces as they set off on an adventure filled with festive fun, magical mayhem, spectacular song and dance, and plenty of laughs for the whole family.

Bursting with talent, the Neverland cast sees Rachel Gaughan take on the role of Wendy, alongside Katie-Rose Weir as the magical Tinkerbell. Returning panto favourites Brian Dalton will bring the laughs as Buddy, while Chris Corroon returns as the outrageous Dame Lola and Aidan Mannion as the hilarious Laurel. Michael Kiersey will take on the role of the dastardly Captain Hook and James Deegan will return as Kevin the gnome, as the talented cast bring the magical world of Neverland to life on The Helix stage this Christmas.

Speaking about joining The Helix Panto, Katie-Rose Weir said, “I’m so excited to be joining The Helix Panto this Christmas and especially to be playing Tinkerbell in Neverland. Tinkerbell is such a fun, magical character and I can’t wait to bring my own take on her to the stage. Panto is all about big characters, lots of laughs and getting the whole family involved, so I’m really looking forward to sharing that magic with audiences this Christmas.”

This year, The Helix Panto is proud to partner with Make-A-Wish Ireland, helping to bring hope, joy and lasting memories to children living with critical illnesses. Throughout the run of Neverland, a series of fundraising and awareness initiatives will support Make-A-Wish in its mission to grant life-changing wishes, giving children and their families moments of strength, happiness and escape during some of the most challenging times in their lives.

As part of the partnership, audiences can enter The Helix Ultimate Panto Experience competition by making a donation to Make-A-Wish Ireland via iDonate, with the chance to win an unforgettable Helix Panto experience for 2027 including an overnight stay at the four star Bonnington Hotel and a meet-and-greet with the cast, while helping to support the charity’s vital work.
