The Helix has reveal the cast of this year’s Christmas panto, The Snow Queen produced by TheatreworX Productions.


Bursting with talent, The Snow Queen cast will see Irish West End star and former Celtic Woman member, Susan McFadden and Fair City actor, Stephen O’Leary take to the panto stage in this magical production which runs from Friday, 21st November 2025 to Sunday, 11th January, 2026.

Bigger, bolder and frostier than ever, join The Snow Queen cast for a sparkling winter adventure like no other as TheatreworX Productions return to the stage at The Helix this Christmas promising a flurry of festive fun, magical mayhem, and all the glittering joy you’ve come to expect from Dublin’s favourite family tradition.


The Snow Queen gets The Helix Panto touch as you're invited to step into the world of the snow-kissed magic of Elsie and her sister Hannah, as they come face-to-face with the dastardly Jack Frost, who plots their doom and his own chilling rise to power. Follow as Lola, Buddy, Laurel, and a blizzard of new characters set off on a whirlwind journey through Merryville and beyond. Packed with the usual Helix Panto's laughter, surprises, and heart-warming moments, The Snow Queen is the perfect festive treat for all ages with stunning sets, song and dance!


Bursting with talent, The Snow Queen cast includes West End performer, Susan McFadden playing lead role as the Snow Queen Elsie, Rachel Gaughan as her effervescent sister Hannah. Stephen O’Leary will play the role of Christopher, Lola’s son who’s ready to take on Michael Kiersey’s icy panto baddie Jack Frost. The multi-talented Chris Corroon returns to the panto spotlight as the outrageous Dame Lola, while panto favourites Aidan Mannion as Laurel is back to wreak havoc and Brian Dalton returns as your best Buddy, Buddy, Buddy!


Speaking at the launch, Susan McFadden said, “I’m thrilled to be stepping into the role of the Snow Queen at The Helix this Christmas. Panto has such a unique way of bringing families together and filling the theatre with laughter and excitement. I can’t wait to join this fantastic cast and bring a little sparkle and magic to audiences this festive season.”

Stephen O’Leary added, “It’s such a thrill to play Christopher in this year’s Helix Panto. The Snow Queen has everything; adventure, friendship, and loads of laughs. The team at TheatreworX have created something really special, and I can’t wait for audiences to join us on this magical journey.”
