Whispering Angel is pleased to announce that it is lightweighting the 2024 vintage bottle. This step represents its commitment to reducing its carbon dioxide emissions by 50% before 2030. The new bottle now weighs 500g, from a previous 600g, representing a 20% weight reduction.
By reducing the weight of bottles, Château d’Eslans and Whispering Angel are not only minimising the direct impact of production but also contributing to broader efforts in reducing transportation emissions, energy use, and waste, at an estimated total of 3795 tonnes of CO2 emissions.

This New Vintage 2024 is a true standout. It exudes fresh citrus notes that bring great energy to the wine. On the palate, the fruit-forward profile is both indulgent and persistent, seamlessly maintaining the aromatic freshness detected on the first sip. Full and lush, yet beautifully smooth and dry, this vintage is rich in character while maintaining a lively, elegant finish.
Harvesting takes place from sunrise to noon and the grapes which are used to make Whispering Angel are sorted optically. Fermented and aged in stainless steel with temperature control, this rosé’s rewarding taste profile is full and lush, with a bone dry and smooth finish.
For those who wish to enjoy a glass with food, Whispering Angel beautifully enhances Mediterranean cuisine, charcuterie, and Middle Eastern or Asian cuisine such as Thai, Vietnamese or sushi.
Whispering Angel 2024 (RRP €26.65) is available from independent off licences such as Mitchell & Son, D Six Wines, The Parcel Concierge Meath, O’Driscolls Cork. Also available nationwide in Avoca Stores, Brown Thomas and O’Briens & Molloys nationwide.
