Wild Youth Gearing Up for Eurovision Battle

Irish band and  Irish Eurovision entrant Wild Youth (Conor O’Donohoe, David Whelan, Ed Porter & Callum Mc Adam) are gearing up for a busy two months as they prepare to take to the Eurovision stage at  the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool with their song ‘We Are One’ from 9-13th May.

‘We Are One’ written by Wild Youth’s prolific keyboard player Conor O’Donoghue  has been digitally re-mastered and he feels it is the perfect Eurovision anthem especially given the current situation with last year’s winning country – Ukraine.  Conor says “We were over the moon to be chosen to represent Ireland and we are going to give it our all over the next two months. We are going to leave no stone unturned to try and bring the trophy back to Ireland”.

The band has a busy schedule over the coming weeks - taking part in a number of Eurovision events. A city tour in the run up to Liverpool  includes Barcelona (25th March) Warsaw (1st April) Madrid (7th April) Amsterdam (15th April) London (16thApril) before heading to Liverpool.

We wish the lads the very best of luck as they represent Ireland at this year’s Eurovision.

Keep up to date with them over on their Instagram.
