Cadbury Inventor Bars Reviewed

Cadbury Inventor Bars are back with three new flavours, and I was lucky enough to win one of the judging packs via a Twitter competition.. delighted with myself! I've tried and tested all three, and even bought some more after, y'know for research purposes!

Here's what I thought of the three new flavours, as always I'll give my honest opinion..

Banoffee Nut Crumble

This is my favourite of the bunch, the banana isn't overpowering just like a good Banoffee would be. Great balance of crunch and creaminess, this bar had the best flavour profile and there's nothing else really like it on the market that I know of.

No Frownie Brownie

I have to be honest, I was a little disappointed with this one at first as I had the highest hopes for it. However, having tried it again I think it's a very good chocolate bar, the Fudge brownie element is soft and goes well with the biscuit and caramel. It's tasty, but feels somewhat too familiar other Cadbury bars from the past like the Medley Bars.

Fizzing Cherry

This one is quite similar to the Jelly Poppin Candy Marvelous Creations bar in my opinion, again very tasty and the chewy cherry pieces leave a good lasting impression, it has all the creamy characteristics of a Cadbury Dairy Milk but again just too familiar to excite.

There can only be one winner, and as the Banoffee is unlike anything else out there that I can think of, and it's very tasty, it's my pick of the 3.

These bars are available in stores for a limited time, priced at €2.49 each. Have you tried them yet, what do you think?
