Easter 2024 could be the wettest on record, according to Ladbrokes.

Following Met Eireann’s latest prediction for outbreaks to ‘bucket down’, coupled with a surge in betting in recent days, Ladbrokes has slashed the odds to 4/1 that the Easter Bank Holiday weekend becomes the wettest ever recorded.

Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes said: "2024 has left a lot to be desired on the weather front and if the latest odds are to be believed, it could get a whole lot worse for Easter as we have been flooded with bets on record rain for the end of the month."
