The SEAI has launched its new low-cost Home Energy Upgrade Loan Scheme ahead of the PTSB Ideal Home Show

Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications, Eamon Ryan TD; Minister for Finance, Michael McGrath TD; and Minister of State at the Department of Finance with special responsibility for financial services, credit unions and insurance, Neale Richmond TD, have today launched a new low-cost Home Energy Upgrade Loan Scheme.

The €500 million Scheme is the first of its kind for both Ireland and the European Investment Bank (EIB) Group and will play a crucial role in helping homeowners to invest in energy efficiency, making their homes warmer, healthier and cheaper to run.

Ideal Home Show title sponsor PTSB is the first financial institution to offer loans to homeowners under the Scheme, with rates from 3.55%.

The PTSB Ideal Home Show returns to the RDS Simmonscourt this weekend from April 26th-28th, where up to 30,000 homeowners, movers and improvers will be able to visit the PTSB Centre to learn more about how to apply for this brand new loan scheme.

Both PTSB (stand N50) and The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) (stand R30) will be at the PTSB Ideal Home Show this weekend to answer any questions from show attendees about this scheme.

For more information go to SEAI.ie, or visit the PTSB Centre at this weekend’s PTSB Ideal Home Show at the RDS Simmonscourt from April 26th – 28th.

Slán go fóill.
