FLYEfit, Ireland’s leading gym chain, will celebrate 15 years in business this November. Today the company announced plans to open 5 new gyms across Ireland in 2027, as part of a wider four-year plan to open 20 new locations.

The expansion forms part of a €50 million investment in the FLYEfit brand over the next four years. The investment will support new gym openings and continued development across the existing network. As the business grows, FLYEfit also plans to double its workforce, creating new roles as it expands its presence across Ireland.

The 5 new locations will bring FLYEfit’s nationwide network to 27 gyms. The first phase of the expansion is due to begin next year, with details of the locations and opening dates to be announced in the coming months.

The announcement follows another year of growth for the brand, including the opening of its newest gym in Inchicore, Dublin. The new locations will extend FLYEfit’s reach, giving more members access to gyms close to where they live, work and study.

Since launching 15 years ago, FLYEfit has focused on making fitness accessible and affordable. Its gyms offer a wide range of equipment, classes and training options for different fitness levels and goals. The company has also continued to invest in its facilities, which feature leading brands including Hammer Strength, Gymleco and Concept, alongside dedicated spaces and equipment for a variety of training styles.

Mandy Thomas, General Manager at FLYEfit, said today “As FLYEfit celebrates 15 years in business, we’re excited to mark the occasion by looking ahead to the next stage of our growth. It’s an exciting time for the company as we continue to expand our network and bring our offering to more communities across Ireland. We are a people business, and we greatly appreciate our employees and everyone who walks through the doors of our 22 gyms each day. This expansion represents a significant investment in FLYEfit’s future, and we look forward to sharing more details about the new locations in the months ahead.”

The 2027 expansion marks another milestone for FLYEfit as it grows its presence across Ireland while continuing to focus on high-quality facilities and a flexible approach to fitness.
