From Borough Market to South William Street: London’s Viral Chocolate Strawberry Craze Lands in Dublin

Dublin’s dessert scene is set for a sweet shake-up with the arrival of Strawberry & Co., a limited-time pop-up opening today (Monday June 16th) at the Powerscourt Townhouse Centre on South William Street.

Directly inspired by the viral chocolate strawberry stalls at London’s Borough Market, Strawberry & Co. brings the same sense of spectacle and indulgence to Ireland – but with a refined, Irish twist. Here, it’s all about hand-picked Wexford strawberries lavishly drizzled in flowing Swiss chocolate, prepared fresh in front of you from a mesmerising chocolate fountain.

The pop-up will operate daily from 11am until sold out, and run through summer 2025 only, wrapping up at the end of August. 

Strawberry & Co. is a locally owned concept reimagining the global dessert trend that’s taken cities like London and Dubai by storm. From TikToks racking up millions of views to queues stretching through Borough Market, chocolate-drenched strawberries are a worldwide obsession – and now, Dublin has its own take.

Each signature cup includes 200g of Wexford strawberries and is priced from €9.50. Whether you choose the flowing Swiss chocolate, pistachio cream or lime-marinated berries with Madagascan vanilla Chantilly, it’s impossible to take a bad photo. Every portion is finished live in front of guests – equal parts dessert and performance.

Pastry chef Ludovic Lantier, the renowned French talent behind the Strawberry & Co. menu, said:

“We’ve all seen the queues at Borough Market and elsewhere overseas for these and the buzz on TikTok, but we wanted to elevate that concept with beautiful Irish strawberries and a more refined finish. The menu is playful, luxurious, and simply delicious!”

The menu, developed by French pastry chef Ludovic Lantier specifically for this Dublin Pop Up, features:

Classic (€9.50) Classic Wexford strawberries drizzled with warm, flowing Swiss milk chocolate

Strawberries & Cream (€10.50) Wexford strawberries marinated in fresh lime and maple syrup, served with Madagascan vanilla Chantilly cream

Dubai Style (€12.95) Classic Wexford strawberries with pure pistachio, Chantilly cream and a generous sprinkle of roasted pistachios

Iced Strawberry Matcha (€8.50) Strawberry purée, premium matcha and creamy oat milk

Strawberry Mojito (€13 or 2 for €22) Havana 3 rum, strawberry puree, lime juice, soda and fresh mint
