Husqvarna is introducing the next generation of robotic mowers for personal use by launching two upgraded versions of their best-selling Automower®. Automower® 310 Mark II and 315 Mark II come with a new improved design that reduces and simplifies maintenance, and can cut lawns of 1000-1500m2 with numerous obstacles and height differences. The result is a better lawn and significant time savings, especially compared to non-robotic mowers.
Just in time for spring, the two new models let users mow gardens and lawns that are 1000-1500 m2 and contain a lot of variety and complexity such as sensitive flowerbeds, trees and bushes. The mowers provide a carefree experience by automatically adapting to grass growth rates, weather and other conditions; a new frost sensor prevents them from mowing and damaging a frosty lawn. Complete with Husqvarna’s patented guide wire solution, which enables a perfectly cut lawn without track marks and the ability to mow very narrow passages.
The improved design makes the mowers easy to maintain; they can be cleaned with a hose and will automatically detect damaged blades or disks. The mowers consistently find their way home using three different search methods to locate the charging station. Users can control the mowers directly through their smartphone with the Husqvarna Automower®Connect app.
Weighing just 10 kgs, the mowers are easy on the lawn. The electric motor produces lower emissions and lower noise, meaning the robots can mow at any time of the day without disturbing the user or their neighbors.
Like all Husqvarna robotic mowers, the new models are equipped with an anti-theft system that includes an alarm and a personal PIN code that make the machines unusable if stolen.
