McDonald’s Ireland Announces Prizes for This Year’s Monopoly Game Promotion

The much-loved MONOPOLY promotion at McDonald's under licence from Hasbro - the global leader in games, IP and toys - is back in every McDonald’s restaurant across Ireland.

And this year’s prize pool is huge  - including an exclusive McDonald’s x MONOPOLY collaboration.

Alongside top-tier instant win prizes, fans can get their hands on limited-edition McDonald’s x MONOPOLY merchandise.

And if that’s not enough, players can even win the MONOPOLY: McDonald’s Edition board game. We’re obsessed.

There are thousands of prizes to be won - from cash and food to holidays, travel, and unforgettable experiences. The top prize of €20,000 in cash will go to one lucky customer, while two more winners will each scoop €5,000.

What is the MONOPOLY promotion at McDonald’s? 

McDonald’s much-loved promotion was launched back in 2016 and works similarly to the classic MONOPOLY board game.

Customers have the chance to win prizes by collecting Game Pieces from menu items such as Fries, wraps, drinks and McFlurry®. Simply by peeling off the Game Pieces from selected menu items, customers can enter their code via the game on the McDonald's app and answer a skills-based question for a chance to win Prizes or Properties

After scanning the game piece code and correctly answering the skills question in-app, customers press the GO button to see Grimace race around a 3D gameboard, eventually landing on the Chance square to reveal a Prize or Property. Complete a full Property set, and you’ll unlock one of the exciting Collect to Win prizes tied to that colour set.
