Designed for sharing and savouring, the Valentine’s dining experience takes place in Clash Bar & Bites, NYX Hotel Portobello’s lively social hub known for bold flavours, relaxed energy and late-night vibes. The specially curated Valentine’s menu priced at €55 per person offers an indulgent three-course dinner for 2, inspired by music, mood and connection, and brings together comforting favourites with playful twists.
Guests begin the evening with The Art of Loving aperitivo cocktail, a smooth, well-balanced serve inspired by Grammy award winning artist Olivia Dean designed to set the tone for the meal and ease into the night ahead.
Starters include a fresh and indulgent classic prawn cocktail, with freshwater prawns layered with a sriracha-spiked Marie rose, crisp shredded iceberg and traditional Irish soda bread. Teriyaki chicken skewers are glazed with a spicy peanut sauce, lime and fragrant coriander, while the sun-dried tomato and mozzarella arancini are golden and crisp, paired with a slow-cooked roast tomato and chilli arrabbiata, peppery rocket and shaved parmesan.
For mains, guests can choose from a juicy BBQ smash burger with double beef patties, cripsy bacon, melted cheese, caramelised grilled onions and chipotle sauce. The grilled chicken alfredo offers silky truffle-infused tagliatelle coated in a creamy, aromatic sauce, finished with crisp leeks, while the sweet potato, chickpea and spinach curry delivers warming spices, creamy richness and vibrant colour, served alongside fluffy fragrant rice, crispy cauliflower floret and sweet mango chutney.
Dessert is designed for sharing, featuring a mouthwatering miso chocolate brownie, light and airy pavlova topped with vanilla cream and strawberries, a sharp and tropical passionfruit tart, and delicate French macarons to finish on a playful note.
After dinner, couples can settle in for the night and enjoy a leisurely morning together, with breakfast included as part of the stay, making it a Valentine’s break designed for staying up late and waking up slow.
