ODEON Cinema Blanchardstown is pulling an ALL NIGHTER for National Cinema Weekend

ODEON Blanchardstown is taking National Cinema Weekend to the next level, opening its doors throughout the night this Saturday and adding 24 extra overnight screenings to its programme, bringing the cinema to an impressive 109 screenings across the weekend.

With screenings running continuously from 9am on Saturday through to Sunday evening, movie fans will be able to enjoy the big screen at almost any hour, with the final National Cinema Weekend screening starting at 9.30pm on Sunday.

The new overnight programme offers a huge variety of films, with something for every kind of cinema fan. Highlights include The Odyssey in IMAX at 1.20am and 5.20am. Horror fans looking for a truly scary experience can catch Insidious at 12.10am, 2.50am or 5.30am, while Spider-Man: Brand New Day will screen at 12.40am, 2.35am, 4.10am and 6.30am, along with many other films screening throughout the night.

The cinema’s concessions will also remain open throughout the night, so audiences can pick up their favourite cinema snacks and drinks, whatever time they arrive. Cheesy nachos or buttered popcorn at 3am anyone?

With 24-hour transport links serving Blanchardstown, including the 39A and N4 bus routes, the additional late-night and early-morning screenings could be particularly appealing to shift workers, hospitality and healthcare workers, as well as cinema fans looking for a more unique way to enjoy a movie.
