ODEON Cinemas has today revealed that Irish moviegoers consumed an impressive 694,721 popcorn bags (111 tonnes) across its cinemas nationwide in 2025, which is enough to fill almost half an Olympic-sized swimming pool, cementing popcorn’s status as the ultimate big-screen snack.
