ODEON Cinemas Ireland announces live screening of The Playboy of the Western World

ODEON Cinemas Ireland have delightedly announced that The Playboy of the Western World, part of National Theatre Live, will be coming to cinemas across Ireland this season, as part of their Event Cinema offerings. The production will be screened across 10 ODEON locations nationwide, including Blanchardstown, Cavan, Charlestown, Coolock, Limerick, Newbridge, Point Square, Stillorgan and Waterford.


Directed by Caitríona McLaughlin and filmed live on stage at the National Theatre, this riveting revival of John Millington Synge’s classic explores youth, identity and the power of storytelling with a sharp, darkly comic edge.
