ODEON Cinemas Ireland has revealed a list of some of the most anticipated films set to arrive in Irish cinemas in 2026, featuring a blockbuster line-up of long-awaited sequels, epic franchise returns and cinematic events designed for the big screen. From superhero epics and science-fiction spectacles to family favourites and laugh-out-loud comedies, 2026 is shaping up to be an unmissable year for Irish cinema audiences.
ODEON’s top ten most anticipated movies of 2026 include:

Wuthering Heights - Expected 13 February 2026
A passionate and tumultuous love story set against the backdrop of the Yorkshire moors, exploring the intense and destructive relationship between Heathcliff (Jacob Elordi) and Catherine Earnshaw (Margot Robbie).

Scream 7 - Expected 27 February 2026
When a new Ghostface killer emerges in the quiet town where Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) has built a new life, her darkest fears are realized as her daughter (Isabel May) becomes the next target.

The Drama - Expected 3 April 2026
Starring Robert Pattinson and Zendaya, a happily engaged couple get put to the test when an unexpected revelation sends their wedding week off the rails.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie - Expected 3 April 2026
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is an animated film based on the world of Super Mario Bros where Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach embark on an adventure across the galaxy. Chris Pratt returns as Mario with Brie Larson voicing Rosalina once again and Jack Black reprising the role of Bowser.

Toy Story 5 – Expected 19 June 2026
Pixar’s beloved characters return for a new adventure that will delight audiences of all ages. Tom Hanks returns as Woody, Tim Allen reports for duty as Buzz Lightyear, and Joan Cusack saddles up again as cowgirl Jessie.

The Odyssey – Expected 17 July 2026

Dune: Part Three – Expected 18 December 2026
The epic conclusion to Denis Villeneuve’s critically acclaimed sci-fi trilogy, continuing the story of Paul Atreides played by Golden Globe winner Timothée Chalamet.
