ODEON Cinemas Ireland is inviting movie fans to the big screen this September, with €4 tickets across National Cinema Weekend, taking place on Saturday the 5th and Sunday the 6th of September.

For two days only, cinema-goers can catch a huge selection of films for just €4 per ticket, with the offer also including selected screenings in premium formats such as IMAX and iSense. With a packed line-up of blockbuster releases, family favourites, Irish films and cinema classics, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
The weekend will offer one of the strongest family slates since National Cinema Day/Weekend began, with audiences able to choose from titles including Toy Story 5, Minions & Monsters, Moana, Paw Patrol: Dino Movie and Coyote v Acme.
For those looking for a blockbuster fix, the line-up will also feature major titles including The Odyssey, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Dog Stars and Insidious: Out of the Further, alongside new releases opening in cinemas on the 4th September, including The Death of Robin Hood and Leviticus.
Cinema fans will also have the opportunity to catch selected screenings of classic films, including Terminator 2, celebrating its 35th anniversary, and Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, marking 40 years since its release.
To accompany the €4 ticket offer, all individual popcorn sizes will be available for just €5 throughout National Cinema Weekend. The special offer is available to all guests with a National Cinema Weekend ticket. Popcorn can also be pre-ordered via the ODEON app and website from Monday the 31st of August until Sunday the 6th of September with a valid National Cinema Weekend ticket.
Paul Wren, Head of Sales ODEON Cinemas UK and Ireland, said today “National Cinema Weekend is a brilliant opportunity to bring people together to enjoy the cinema and we’re delighted to be offering €4 tickets across the weekend, including selected IMAX and iSense screenings. Whether it’s catching the latest blockbuster, bringing the family along to see a favourite or discovering something new, there really is something for everyone. With popcorn available for just €5 as well, it’s the perfect excuse to make a trip to the cinema”.
ODEON will also host Autism Friendly Screenings at the €4 ticket price point on the following Saturday, the 12th September, offering a more accessible cinema experience for audiences outside of the busy National Cinema Weekend.
