Rachel Proudley and RDS donate €5,000 to CHI Temple Street following historic Puissance win

History-making show jumper Rachel Proudley has turned sporting success into charitable giving by donating part of her Defender Puissance prize money to CHI at Temple Street, with the RDS matching her contribution to raise a total of €5,000.

At last year's Show, Rachel made history by clearing the 2.15m wall at just 20 years of age, becoming the first woman in 60 years to win the prestigious Defender Puissance title.

Rachel, who rides for HK Horses, one of the UK's leading international show jumping yards, and is trained and managed by Richard Howley, generously donated €2,500 from her prize fund to CHI Temple Street. The RDS matched her contribution, bringing the total donation to €5,000.
