Dublin’s hi-tech entertainment playground Super Social is celebrating its first birthday! And it's doing so with an exciting new addition announcement.

Since opening at Leopardstown Racecourse one year ago, the 15,000 square foot super venue has hosted more than 125,000 rounds of mini golf, seen over one million smart darts thrown and welcomed 1,000+ corporate events, alongside countless birthday parties, stag and hen nights, girls’ nights out and group celebrations.

But it is not just about the games. Following a recent kitchen revamp and the introduction of a new lunch offering, restaurant footfall has doubled, while its cocktail menu has become a major draw in its own right, with over 400 cocktails served on Valentine’s night alone!
Founded by childhood friends Dan Begley and Paul Quinn, Super Social was created to bring competitive socialising to Ireland in a non-VR format. That means real putters, real golf balls and real dartboards, enhanced with clever technology that tracks scores, adds competitive twists and keeps the energy and entertainment high.
To mark its first year, the venue today announces they are introducing Ireland’s first 'augmented reality beer pong tables'. Using real ping pong balls and classic rules, the new tables elevate the game with interactive visuals, live scoring and multiple game formats, from traditional pong to speed challenges and even noughts and crosses. But don't worry non-drinkers! No real beer is actually used, clever tech simply pulls on the fun of one of the world's most loved classic party games.
Paul Quinn, Co-Founder, said “Beer pong is one of the world’s most popular party games, and we’ve managed to make it even better! By adding fully interactive technology and multiple game formats, we’ve transformed a classic into something far more immersive and competitive. It still feels familiar, but now it delivers real theatre and energy. We’re constantly looking for ways to raise the bar for our customers, and this does exactly that. Whether you’re a group of two or ten, it completely changes the dynamic of the night.”
Co-Founder Dan Begley believes the shift towards activity-led nights out is only accelerating: “People still want to go out, but they want more than just a drink. They want an experience. They want great food, quality cocktails and something fun to do while they are there. Competitive socialising has exploded internationally, and we are seeing the same appetite steadily grow here in Ireland. No other Irish venue offers the same mix of non-VR games and atmosphere under one roof.”
Located at Leopardstown Pavilion, Dublin 18, Super Social is easily accessible via the M50 and Central Park Luas stop. Games start from €12.95 per round of mini golf.
Guests must be aged 12+ to play, with 18+ only gameplay from 6pm. The main restaurant remains open to younger diners until 9pm.
Opening hours run Tuesday to Sunday.
