Teeling Whiskey, Ireland's leading progressive Irish whiskey producer, is delighted to announce it has collected the top honour as Irish Spirits Master across four categories at the 2021 annual Irish Whiskey Masters, held in London and results announced on August 1st.
Teeling Whiskey scooped top honours across both the highly competitive Irish Single Malt and Irish Single Grain categories, receiving a total of 10 medals including 4 Masters, 5 Gold and 1 Silver across their innovative range of Irish whiskeys.
This latest batch of honours builds on the international reputation Teeling Whiskey has earned since its formation in 2012 and brings the total to over 325 International Awards for their Irish whiskeys. These accolades include the prestigious honour of the “World’s Best Single Malt” which they received at the World Whiskies Awards in 2019.
Reflecting the increased entrants within the category, the Irish Whiskey Masters 2021 entries were up by over 60% on last year and therefore extremely well represented and very competitive with near 100 entries from 27 different Irish Whiskey companies. Thus, for Teeling Whiskey to dominate the Irish Single Grain category and the Single Malt categories is a true reflection of its leadership within the Irish Whiskey industry for the quality of whiskeys they continue to release.
Teeling Whiskey received the overall top award for its Teeling Whiskey Single Grain and its soon to be released Teeling Whiskey 13 Year Old Single Grain, as well as the Masters Awards for two of its aged Single Malts, Teeling Whiskey Renaissance 18 Year Old Single Malt (Series 3) and Teeling Whiskey VRC 32 Year Old Single Malt. There was also Gold Medals for the Teeling Small Batch, Teeling Single Pot Still and Teeling Single Malt to round out an overall stellar performance for the Teeling Whiskey portfolio of Irish whiskeys.
