The Biggest Disco reveals top 5 Festival must-haves for Summer 2024

The Biggest Disco Festival is back and bigger than ever before, returning on June 15th to a brand new location at Leopardstown Racecourse, located on the outskirts of Dublin city with a Green Line Luas stop just 20 minutes away.

The festival promises to bring the excitement and nostalgia of its previous events to it's new home, with an immersive experience set to bring thousands of fans right back to the old good days through music.

With the return of the summer and festival season fast approaching, the organisers of The Biggest Disco have revealed their top 5 festival essentials to help keep the crowds grooving late into the night safely and comfortably so the party doesn’t stop before they do!

The Biggest Disco Festival essentials checklist:

Portable Phone Charger

Everyone has a story about their phone losing power and not being able to find their friend at a festival. A portable phone charger is crucial for staying connected throughout the day. Keep a portable charger in a bum bag or crossbody bag so that you can keep in touch with friends, take the perfect selfie and take pictures of your favourite acts.

Comfortable Clothing and Footwear

Even on the sunniest mid-summer day, Ireland can never guarantee endless sunshine. Keep cool in breathable layers and pop a light fold-up rain mac in the bag in case the rain falls during the day.

Also, there will be plenty of walking between stages so be sure to wear comfortable shoes. If you haven’t broken in your favourite pairs of boots just yet, it’s best to leave them at home so you can keep dancing instead of nursing sore feet!

Reusable Water Bottle

Staying hydrated is essential, especially if the weather is warm. Pack a reusable water bottle and make sure to take regular breaks to keep your energy high late into the night.

Sunscreen and other Sun Protection

Even if the weather doesn’t seem overly sunny, the sun’s rays can still beam through the clouds, leaving people with sunburns. Apply a high-SPF sunscreen before you go and remember to top it up throughout the day. Don’t forget lip balm with SPF as well. Remember to pack a hat and sunglasses to avoid being sunburnt and keep the glare from the sun blocking your sight of the headline acts.

Bum Bag or Crossbody Bag

A small bum bag or crossbody bag will keep your hands free for dancing while carrying around the essentials. It should be large enough to hold a charger, sunscreen, and any other personal items (like a wallet, tickets, and ID) but light enough that it won’t weigh you down in the crowds.

Fans can get ready to embrace their inner dance queen or funk master and don their most fabulous fancy dress, as The Biggest Disco is set to transform the Leopardstown Racecourse into a dancing paradise, featuring a fantastic lineup including Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, Basshunter, Mark McCabe and many more.

With immersive décor, dazzling light shows, exhilarating funfair rides, mouth-watering street food stalls and larger-than-life installations, fans can expect to be transported to a world where the music never stops and the energy is infectious.

Located just 20 minutes away from Dublin city centre, the Biggest Disco Festival's outdoor venue at Leopardstown Racecourse makes it easily accessible for attendees from all corners of Ireland, with ample parking and public transport (green line luas).

Tickets are available now at BiggestDisco.com. Tickets starting at €76.32. (Over 18’s only.)
