Emerald Park Presents: ‘Jack and Jill’s Explore at the Park’

Emerald Park, Ireland's only theme park and zoo, is thrilled to announce an exciting event that promises fun and adventure with Irish children’s charity Jack and Jill.

On Friday, August 25th, 10am – 3pm, Emerald Park will host ‘Jack and Jill’s Explore at the Park,’ a captivating treasure hunt trail that aims to support the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation's ‘Up The Hill,’ challenge.

‘Jack and Jill’s Explore at the Park’ gives families not only a day of entertainment and fun at the park, but also the chance to contribute to a meaningful cause. This fundraiser is dedicated to the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation's ‘Up The Hill,’ challenge, which focuses on raising funds for children with highly complex and life-limiting medical conditions.

With every €18 adult registration fee, participants will be funding one hour of essential in-home nursing care and end-of-life support for children up to the age of six.

Up the Hill,’ is a flagship fundraiser for Jack and Jill that truly has a community appeal, as groups of friends, families and colleagues get together to go Up the Hill to support local Jack and Jill families. The service provides in-home nursing care, respite support and end-of-life care for children from birth to six years of age who have highly complex and life-limiting medical conditions.

Their mission is to empower parents to care for their child at home, because there is no care like home care for a Jack and Jill child. By registering and taking part in #UptheHill23 and through this fundraising appeal, participants will make a real and genuine difference for Jack and Jill families in local communities, for whom Jack and Jill is a lifeline.
