Whiskey Write Up | Dingle Single Malt

Up next for a Whiskey Write Up is the Dingle Distillery Single Malt Irish Whiskey, which comes from the 'artisan' Dingle Distillery. The distillery has produced award winning vodka, gin and whiskey.

They are located in a converted sawmill in Milltown on the outskirts of Dingle, in a Gaeltacht (Irish speaking region) in the southwest of Ireland

In 2012 The Dingle Whiskey Distillery began distilling in a tin shed in the town of Dingle, Co. Kerry. The first Dingle Whiskey Casks were filled on the 18th of December 2012. Three years and 1 day later, on the 19th of December 2015, one cask, Cask No. 2 was released.

To achieve their unique flavor's Dingle use three distinctive, hand-crafted copper pot stills to create what they believe is the ultimate Irish whiskey. Their distinctive design, incorporating a boil ball, encourages reflux and has much to do with the remarkable smoothness and purity of our spirit.

Since their first release, Dingle have been one of the leading brands in the Irish whiskey revival. They have always believed in quality over quantity, and staying true to their Founding Fathers beliefs, they have continued see this through by producing limited number of bottles in each of their batch series releases and their latest Celtic series.
