Aldi Launch Barnardos Fundraising Campaign with Promotional Milk Cartons

As part of it's pledge to raise €1m for their charity partner Barnardos, Aldi has launched a brand-new fundraising initiative and is using promotional milk cartons to call on people to donate to the children’s charity.

Milk cartons from Aldi’s Clonbawn range are now showcasing the supermarket’s ongoing partnership with Barnardos, by featuring heart-warming imagery and details on how to support, encouraging customers to text MILK to 50300 to donate €2. Every €2 donated will provide a nutritious breakfast for a vulnerable child in one of Barnardos Early Years Centres. The following products are available in 150 Aldi stores nationwide and will be included in the campaign: • Clonbawn Fresh Milk €0.85 (1L) • Clonbawn Low Fat Milk €0.85 (1L)

In October 2020, Aldi announced a new two-year partnership with Barnardos and pledged to raise €1m to support the charity through a combination of staff, store, customer, and community fundraising initiatives.

All money raised as part of this two-year initiative will be used to support Barnardos Early Years and Family Support Programmes. These vital services provide vulnerable children with healthy nutritious breakfasts and hot meals as well as help at-risk families access counselling, parenting support and practical advice.
