Emerald Park Unveils First Glimpse of Thrilling Tír Na nÓg Rollercoasters

Excitement soared to new heights today as Emerald Park offered a sneak peek into it's much-anticipated Tír Na nÓg development, showcasing the installation of trains on two new state of the art rollercoasters. The addition of the rollercoaster trains signifies a milestone in the park's journey towards delivering it's first fully themed and immersive land at the theme park and zoo.

Today, General Manager of Emerald Park, Charles Coyle confirmed that Tír Na nÓg will open it's gates to adventure seekers and families this May, with an official opening date to be revealed next month. The unveiling marks the first glimpse into what promises to be a world-class entertainment destination located in Ashbourne, Co. Meath.

With a substantial investment of €22 million, the 6.5 acre land is a first for Emerald Park and has never been seen before in Ireland. Along with the two main rollercoasters, Tír na nÓg will also introduce a third classic theme park attraction, known as a Waveswinger. New food outlets, retail spaces, and an entrance that will create real excitement and wonder, will also all lend to the Irish mythology and fantasy theming across the land.

Speaking on the update, CEO of Emerald Park, Charles Coyle said, "Today marks a monumental leap in Emerald Park's journey as we unveil the trains on our two new rollercoasters at Tír na nÓg. This milestone not only signifies our dedication to creating fully themed and immersive experiences but also represents the culmination of years of hard work and innovation. As we continue to push the boundaries of imagination, we’re looking forward to seeing our guests embark on an unforgettable adventure this year”.
