Ford Ireland Launches Second Year of ‘Drive for Your Community’ with Irish Guide Dogs

Ford Ireland has announced the return of its ‘Drive for your Community’ initiative in partnership with Irish Guide Dogs, following a successful first year that raised €26,310 for the charity.

Building on the success of last autumn’s campaign, Drive for your Community returns for its second year with an expanded schedule of charity test-drive events taking place across Ireland from August to October 2026.

At each participating event, members of the public will have the opportunity to get behind the wheel of a brand-new Ford while helping to raise vital funds for Irish Guide Dogs. For every valid test drive taken, Ford will donate €30 to the charity, with up to 200 test drives and a maximum donation of €6,000 per event.

Drivers will also have the opportunity to experience some of Ford’s latest all-electric vehicles, including the All-Electric Explorer, All-Electric Capri and All-Electric Puma Gen-E.

The 2026 Drive for your Community event schedule includes:
