James J. Fox, Dublin’s most renowned cigar and whiskey merchants, have proudly announced the release of a rare and exclusive Single Cask Irish whiskey, created in partnership with Dingle Distillery. This celebratory bottling is a bold expression of craft, heritage, and excellence — a tribute to two institutions of Irish whiskey culture.
As James J. Fox celebrates its 145th Anniversary, this release marks the start of a series of exceptional releases to commemorate this milestone.

Filled in February 2015 and matured for over a decade in a first-fill Oloroso sherry cask, this cask strength single malt has been bottled at a powerful 60.7% ABV with a yield of only 293 bottles. Hand-selected by Dingle’s Head of Production, Paddy Foley, this whiskey showcases the signature complexity of Dingle’s triple-distilled spirit.
Tasting notes:
Nose: Roasted nuts and marzipan lead into bright citrus, red apple, and dried fig. Hints of butterscotch, spice, and sweet berry round out a rich, inviting aroma.
Palate: Fig roll and almond tart meet berries and stone fruits. Ginger spice, citrus oil, and a subtle saline grip add depth and vibrancy.
Finish: Long and evolving, with peppery warmth, honeycomb, and lingering notes of caramel, prunes, and zesty citrus peel.

Yiorgos Manesis, Managing Director at James J. Fox, says: "We are thrilled to collaborate with Dingle Distillery on this exclusive release. It is an exceptional single malt that we fell in love with immediately, and I am sure our customers will, too"
Niall O Connor, Dingle Distillery Marketing Manager, says: “We’re incredibly proud to partner with James J.Fox on this exceptional cask release. This release represents the very best of what we do at Dingle – crafting whiskey with character, depth and distinction. Partnering with James J. Fox to mark such a significant milestone is a privilege, and we’re proud to see this exceptional cask stand as a testament to our shared passion for Irish whiskey.”
