ALDI’s Spring/Summer 2026 wine collection arrives in stores nationwide from March 17th, offering a thoughtfully curated selection designed to make choosing quality wine effortless and affordable. Featuring crisp, refreshing whites, vibrant rosés, sophisticated reds, and sparkling spritz favourites, each bottle has been handpicked to deliver outstanding flavour and exceptional value.

Speaking about the range, Tom Doorley, top Irish wine expert and ALDI Ambassador, said: “As the brighter days start to creep in, this collection feels perfectly timed for the season ahead. The range shares a real sense of freshness and vibrancy - ideal for lighter spring dishes. There are a couple of standout bottles here that I think customers will quickly fall in love with.”
To celebrate the launch, Tom Doorley has shared his top picks from the collection:

Portuguese Dao €9.99 A serious red from Portugal’s most subtle wine region - often described as the ‘Burgundy of the South’. Dark, deep and concentrated, it delivers complex layers of rich forest fruits, dark chocolate and a touch of oaky vanilla. Made from characterful grapes including Aragonez, Touriga Nacional and Baga, this is a structured, elegant red perfect for roast meats or hearty dishes.

Greek Assyrtiko €9.99 A brilliant example of how modern Greek wines are leading the way. Made primarily from the native Assyrtiko grape, which ripens beautifully while holding onto its signature fresh acidity, this wine is vibrant, crisp and incredibly food friendly. A small addition of Chardonnay adds balance and roundness. For many, this will be a real discovery wine of the season.

Specially Selected Organic Costa Toscana Rosé €9.99 Bursting with white peach, raspberry and strawberry aromas, this fresh rosé delivers sweet red fruit and a hint of grapefruit on the finish. Light, vibrant and made for relaxed spring evenings.
In addition to the exciting new seasonal offerings, a number of previous favourites are moving into ALDI’s core collection, making them available all year round. This includes the popular Le Petit Poulet €8.99 range of Rosé, Red and White wines, as well as the exciting Lisbon Red €7.99, Reprobates Red €9.99, and Specially Selected Albariño €10.99. These sell out wines have been so well-loved that they’re now here to stay!
No matter what you’re raising a glass to this season, visit your local ALDI store from March 17th to discover this year’s Spring/Summer 2026 wine collection - carefully selected to make choosing great wine simple, all at unbeatable value.
