From personalised cards and premium whiskey gift sets to sweet treats and quirky keepsakes, Moonpig Ireland is helping the nation pull off Father’s Day – even if they’ve left it until the very last minute.

With Father’s Day falling on Sunday, June 21st, new research from Moonpig Ireland reveals that more than half (51%) of people celebrating are still planning their Father’s Day gifts or haven’t bought anything yet. Just 28% have already ticked the task off, while almost a quarter (23%) are still planning what to buy.

To help save the nation’s last-minute shoppers, Moonpig Ireland has launched Saturday delivery for the first time, extending its original Thursday cut-off and giving customers an extra 24 hours to order personalised cards and gifts in time for Father’s Day.

The new service comes as attention has been focused elsewhere this June, with major sporting events dominating headlines and leaving many families scrambling to organise something special for Dad.

Moonpig remains Ireland’s leading online card and gift retailer, specialising in personalised greetings for every occasion. With more than 37,000 designs to choose from, including humorous, heartfelt and uniquely Irish cards, every card is printed locally in Ireland, ensuring fast delivery and exceptional quality.

Whether he’s impossible to buy for, insists he “doesn’t need anything”, or simply deserves a little appreciation, Moonpig’s curated Father’s Day range makes it easy to find something meaningful.

Customers can choose from premium whiskey and beer gift sets, indulgent chocolate hampers from brands including Lindt and Cadbury, personalised mugs, novelty socks, balloons and keepsake gifts, alongside iconic Tatty Teddy bears and thoughtful photo gifts that celebrate favourite family moments.á

Personalisation remains at the heart of every gift. Customers can add photos, heartfelt messages and even QR code voice notes or videos to selected cards, creating keepsakes that dads, grandads and father figures can treasure long after Father’s Day has passed.

Alice Kinsella, Country Lead at Moonpig Ireland, said,"Father’s Day has a habit of creeping up on people, and this year we’ve seen a significant number of shoppers leaving things later than usual. We know life gets busy, and sometimes finding the perfect gift slips down the to-do list. That’s why we’re delighted to introduce Saturday delivery in Ireland for the first time. It gives customers an extra chance to celebrate the dads, grandads and father figures in their lives with something personal and thoughtful, even if they’re shopping at the eleventh hour."

With nationwide delivery available from Dublin to Donegal, Cork to Castlebar, Moonpig Ireland makes it simple for busy families and last-minute shoppers alike to ensure Father’s Day arrives right on time.

To order, visit Moonpig.ie. Thanks to the new Saturday delivery service, customers can place orders on Friday and still receive their card and gift in time for Father’s Day this Sunday, June 21st.

Slá go fóill.
