ALDI has reigned supreme yet again at the 2022 FreeFrom Food Awards, receiving top awards for their impressive range of high-quality and great value FreeFrom products.
The FreeFrom Food Awards made a return on the 28th of October for their first live awards ceremony in two years. Celebrations were in order as ALDI picked up a total of 46 awards including the title of Retailer of the Year, as well as 12 Gold Awards, 15 Silver Awards, 9 Bronze Awards and 9 Merits across 21 categories.
Now in its seventh year, the FreeFrom Food Awards continues to champion the quality and innovation of Irish FreeFrom food producers who provide excellent alternatives to those with special dietary requirements. The categories are judged blind by a panel of industry experts, including food bloggers, food writers, and consumers of FreeFrom products. The judging panel make their evaluation based on quality, flavour, aroma, texture, ingredients, price and most importantly – FreeFrom declarations, without prior knowledge of the names of producers and manufacturers.
