Spread joy and support the Irish Cancer Society with ALDI’s Daffodil Day bouquet

With Daffodil Day set to take place on Friday March 22nd, ALDI is proud to team up with the Irish Cancer Society to raise vital funds for cancer patients and their families. From the 21st of March, ALDI customers can pick up an extra special bunch of Specially Selected Scented Narcissi €2.49 with €0.50 from each purchase going directly to the Irish Cancer Society.

As a long-standing charity partner to the Irish Cancer Society, ALDI is encouraging customers to support by picking up this cheerful springtime bouquet, available in ALDI stores nationwide.

As the Irish Cancer Society’s most important fundraising campaign, Daffodil Day holds a special place in the hearts of people all over Ireland with the general public giving generously each year. All funds raised go towards offering vital care, advice and practical support to cancer patients and their families while also supporting ground-breaking cancer research. Thanks to people’s kind donations, the Irish Cancer Society provide free services like the Support Line, free Transport service, Daffodil Centres, Cancer information, at home end-of-life Night Nursing care and financial support to families facing a cancer diagnosis.

Additionally, this year, Irish Cancer Society volunteers will be outside ALDI’s 161 stores nationwide selling Daffodil Day pins, collecting much-needed donations and putting a smile on people’s faces. Customers can also donate using the QR code displayed on digital screens in store. To support even further, ALDI Ireland has also launched an online fundraiser for the Irish Cancer Society.

Your generous donations are fuelling groundbreaking cancer research and vital free supports for cancer patients across Ireland. Thank you for going all in against cancer this Daffodil Day and helping us to ensure that everyone affected by cancer in Ireland has the support they need when they need it most.”

Since 2016, ALDI has proudly supported the Irish Cancer Society. Thanks to the generosity of staff, customers and Irish Cancer Society supporters, ALDI has raised an incredible €1.9 million for cancer services and research.

This year, support the Irish Cancer Society by purchasing Specially Selected Scented Narcissi €2.49, available in 161 ALDI stores nationwide from March 21st.
